Students using an FISD owned instrument have a required usage fee that covers annual maintenance. Families may choose to pay one time at the start of the year or pay half the fee at the start of each semester. Families using the FISD Free & Reduced lunch program have a 50% reduction for this fee. Instruments automatically enrolled in this program (since the local music stores do not rent them) are Oboe, Bassoon, Horn, Euphonium, & Tuba.
