BB Sandy Lake & Rehearsals
We are excited to take Beginning Band to their first band contest. This event will take place during the school day and only students passing their classes (based on state eligibility guidelines) will be allowed to participate. The band will perform two song selections then have an opportunity to ride rides, play games, and eat at the park before coming back to school. Note that we need chaperones and equipment transportation assistance. We hope your child can participate in this awesome event!

BPA Nominations and Announcements
AB Six Flags
Dress Code: School dress code MUST be followed with the exception that students may wear hats and sunglasses.
Cell Phone/Devices: Students are allowed to bring cell phones and their own devices, but they are responsible for any item brought to the park. Students may also want to wear a watch as they will be asked to check with their group at certain times during the day.
Check-in: Students must stay with at least one other SMS student who is on the trip with us at all times and final check-in at the end of the day. All groups will check in at the fountain by the entrance at the end of the day unless told otherwise by your director. It is important that all students meet their assigned check-in times as parents will be contacted if students are more than 10 minutes late (waiting in line for a ride IS NOT an excuse). If you are concerned about your student not being with an adult please see the chaperone information below.
Alternate Drop Off/ Pick Up Times: If your student needs to arrive late or leave early please indicate so on the permission slip. We will do our best to accommodate events happening that weekend. Please try to estimate times so we can plan accordingly.
Expected Behavior: Students should be on their best behavior as they are representing Staley. If a director is notified that a Staley student is in trouble at Six Flags (shoplifting, vandalizing, etc.) we will notify a parent and the student will need to be picked up in Arlington immediately.
Director Contact: If you need to get a hold of a director during the trip please call (817) 640-8900 x3139 (Six Flags guest relations) and let them know that your child is there with the Staley Middle School group.
