In addition to overseeing all aspects of the Staley Band Program, Mr. Wood teaches Symphonic Band, Beginning Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, Low Brass (euphonium & tuba) and the Beginning Jazz Band.
A native of Haysville, Kansas, Mr. Wood enjoys KU Basketball as well as any of the local sports teams, especially the Mavericks. Outside of school Mr. Wood likes making noise on his synth toys, reading, and making artwork with his daughters. Mr. Wood lives in Frisco with his wife Lesley, their daughters Emily and Harper, and their dog Ranger.
Shaun M. Gray, Assistant Director of Bands
Mr. Gray is a graduate of the University of North Texas (UNT) and is entering his 11th year at Staley.

Most important, Mr. Gray is also one of the funniest persons you'll ever meet in your life.
