Private Lessons:

Imagine having the chance to practice Basketball with Kobe Bryant or having Michael Phelps as your swim coach!  We are excited to offer all our budding musicians a chance to study privately with a professional musician.  Our staff can work with your student for 30 minutes or half of your students class period once a week.  This detailed, one-on-one instruction provides a chance for advanced students to work ahead of the class or help students focus on their individual struggles.

Private Lessons take place once per week and the FISD set rate is $16 per lesson.  Lessons can take place during your child's class time or outside of school, as set up by you and your lesson teacher.  (6th grade students may also take during advisory time)

If you are interested in lessons but not sure about the financial commitment there are scholarships available as well as a work program (Band Hall Heros) to help cover the cost of lessons!  Both forms can be downloaded below the private lesson teacher information.  Please note- scholarships are based on need and only serious applicants should apply.  Please note that scholarship applications are now closed.  If you are interested in lessons but have a financial concern please let Mr. Gray know.
